Welcome to the Springwater Church Website |
Welcome to the Springwater Church Website This is the website for Springwater Church. Whether you are a member of the church, one of our visitors or have just stumbled across our page we hope you will find content of interest to you. Jesus said “ Let the children come to Me...for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” At Springwater we invest a great deal in the children’s ministries and offer a baby creche and Sunday School for all ages on Sunday morning; Cradle Club for Mums and babies on Monday morning; and the Ark for toddlers aged 1 – 3 and their carers on Wednesday and Friday mornings. A youth group meets at week-ends for fun and study. Please call the office for more information. Our church is based in the village of Peppard, adjoining Sonning Common, in Oxfordshire and we have an active membership across a spectrum of ages. Together we share the desire to be a community of people dedicated to God who proclaim Jesus Christ as Truth, in all aspects of our lives and throughout our community. Please browse through the site, or maybe listen to one of the Sunday recordings to find out more about us. Dive in and enjoy! |

This Sunday morning we will be holding a slightly different service to normal. We will not be having a sermon and this will allow us more time for worship and an extended time for testimonies. . How did God bring you to salvation? How did He heal, or protect, or provide for you or loved ones? What miracles or supernatural events did He bring forth into your life? How has He directed your steps? These are some of the experiences we will be sharing.
On Sunday 20th May we will be welcoming Chris and Maggy Lewis who will be sharing God's message with us and we are looking forward to hearing from them and sharing fellowship with them. Do come and worship with us as we journey together in following God's guidance for the future at Springwater.

The Sonning Common Life Group is meeting this week and is continuing the study of the Sermon on the Mount. John Stott said "this sermon is probably the best known part of Jesus's teaching...arguably the least understood and certainly the least obeyed." Have a look at the banners in church and see how many of the beatitudes you can remember and then how many you measure up to.
The Henley Life Group is meeting in Henley and is doing a study series called "Jesus , the sequel"
We have decided to rename the Home groups as Life Groups as although they still meet in peoples homes they are involved with the whole life of the members. In the group we meet to pray over any concerns any member may have, to read God's word and to discuss the the previous weeks sunday message.
If you would like to join us any week please email or call the office to find the address of where we are meeting any week.

Then this website is for you. http://dailyaudiobible.com/ Here you can find a different part of the Bible read to you every day.
